I'm a University of Lethbridge Science Education Graduate, what else?
Born and raised in Medicine Hat, I graduated in 2016 from Crescent Heights High School. That's where I found my love for science.
I obtained a combined bachelor's degree in Science and Education from University of Lethbridge in the spring of 2021. I originally hoped to teach Senior High Chemistry or Biology, but have since discovered that I really enjoy teaching Junior High and Elementary through my various practicums and internship.
My hobbies include art, dance, fossil hunting, and working on my car. I was president of the UofL Bellydance club for two years and taught bellydance during that time. My mom and I have worked with the Royal Tyrell Museum on small surveys and excavations in the Irvine area, and I used to assist in hosting "Dinosaur Presentations" to various elementary schools around the city. My father was born in Hamburg, Germany, and German heritage has always been a big part of my life. I am able to speak basic German because of this. I was deeply immersed in the Art program at CHHS, and spent many hours working on projects with the art teacher during my spares. A few of my pieces have received awards at the Esplanade, one of them being first place in clay work.
I currently live in Lethbridge with my boyfriend, Nicholas, who graduated from UofL with a degree in Neuroscience and is currently pursuing Dentistry. Together we adopted our cat, Finnegan, in August of 2020.
I was head of Fundraising in the Science & Engineering Undergraduate club at MHC.

I was president of the University of Lethbridge Bellydance club for two years. I've been in various dance groups over the years.
