Prehistoric Studies
In PSIII, I was given the opportunity to create my own specialized option to teach to multiple Grade 7 classes.
I designed "Prehistoric Studies"; a 4-week module containing topics about Prehistoric Time Periods, Extinction, Dinosaur Identification, Fossilization, and Paleontology.
The class was extremely hands-on, allowing students to touch and hold countless fossils, casts, and replicas. Students also participated in various activities, such as Dinosaur Jeopardy, Pasta Dinosaurs, and even a Mock Excavation where they got to take home real fossils.

Final Research Poster Project and Gallery
Students created posters of a chosen dinosaur, and later did a gallery walk to veiw other students' work, leaving at least 2 comment sticky notes on other posters.
Students dug for fossils, some pastered into the box, others loose. Students took home the loose bone they found.
